heigh ho heigh ho...

...its off to florida i go! ha ha! okay not yet, but i DO have my plane ticket bought! :D yeah! my mom got it this afternoon so that is official now! this weekend we are going to go look at hotels and figure out which one is best for me. everyone keeps saying i should go with the holiday sunspree, because it is right across from the check in point at vista way, but i still am unsure of if ill go with that, as i feel like i could save money by going somewhere else. i dont mind getting a ride to the place from my hotel. okay, so sorry that is really the only new news on the disney front, well unless you count the call i got yesterday from them thanking and congratulation me...again. they like to do that i decided. its not a bad thing...but still, i get worried when i get a call from them and so my mind thinks the worst!
well regular life other than disney(ha ha, is that possible?) is pretty good. school is over in about a month, wow! its amazing how happy i have been lately though, even with sad times i just still feel like im on this high! i have disney to thank :) its helped me be more positive, because i already feel that dreams really do come true. and life even throws in a couple good surprises in the mix. its pretty great! well, im off to bed now, tootles!

Just some random thoughts

Hey all! I was just thinking of updating a little bit about what's going on with me lately. First off, it's officially official that i have a spot in the College Program! I paid my fee yesterday so I will have a spot fo rizzle in august! awesome huh! okay so that is really it...unless you count how the flight i wanted was lame and went up in price by 40 dollars *grumble mumble* it made me and my mom sad. :( my dad thinks we will get a flight for even cheaper, but i highly doubt it...i dont want to pay a butload for flying on sunday! and then another arm and a leg just to have my baggage checked. stupid rules! ha ha. anyways, uh...i have a few VLOGS up so i was thinking id pull a plug in for me and post that url....

WDWCP!

Hey everyone! I thought it fitting that I finally put up my first official WDWCP(Walt Disney World College Program) blog! I didn't want to do it before I received my actual invitation for fear that I would get rejected, but it's official! I'm going to Disney World come fall! The date I will be checking in is August 10th, and I am scheduled to return home on the 2nd of January, but we shall see about that huh? Anyways, what happened this weekend was on Friday night, the Disboards user "Wiisa" got her acceptance letter, and we both had the same recruiter and interviewed the same day, so I figured mine was coming very soon. Saturday morning I texted my roommate and told her that if I got a big envelope, to tell me, if not, I will find out when I get home and then I can be sad. So, a few hours later, I am watching The Office at home, and I get a text that says I have a BIG envelope :D I was so excited I ran down the hall to tell my mom and called my Natalie, who so lovingly reminded me that I should find out what I am going to be doing. Ha Ha. So, I called my roommate Steff back up and had her open it. I will be doing Merchandise! One of my top choices! Woot! :D It's way exciting! I couldn't stop smiling, and I even cried from the excitment of finding out that I will get to fullfill one of my dreams and goals! I know it will be hard, but definately worth it. So now comes the LONG wait till August 10th(and right now Disboards isn't working for me so I can't even chill with my friends on there :'(...) Anyways, tootles! And have a magical day!

Spring Break!

Spring break was a blast this year! I went down to Prescott, Arizona with my dear friend Natalie, starting last Friday, then we came back on Thursday to good ole AF. It was so warm down in Arizona, with the temperature between the 60's all week! I met some really neat people down there and had alot of fun exploring rooftops and tunnels. I even got to go cacti hunting. Who knew there were so many different types of Cacti? Also, both Nat and I learned that it is dangerous to play with the teddy bear cacti. They may look all fuzzy and cuddly, but they can hurt! We saw loads of saguaros, or cigarros(how Nat's mom pronounces it). Lol! When we came back from Arizona, we went to the Draper Temple open house. It was such a beautiful temple! I loved the art in it and how gorgeous it all was inside. I can't wait to get to return to it. :D After the temple we walked around Ikea for a while, which was pretty eventful. Alot of their showcase things are amazing! It's so good I wasn't shopping, just browsing. The big part of the weekend was the two receptions I went to and the homecomings I attended. A roommate of mine from last year got married Friday, then my friend Kellie got married on Saturday. Both wedding receptions were beautiful! Sunday I got to hear two of my friends speak in their sacrament meetings. Both were great speakers and I learned alot from them! Also this weekend was my parents 25th wedding anniversary. They flew out to San Fran to visit our family friends and take in the sites. They got to see Wicked, which I am very jealous about. :( But I got a cool shirt centered around the Alcatraz theme. Anyways, my spring break was rather eventful huh? Much Love to you all!

Just Getting Started

Wow! So I was thinking it might be a good thing for me to start a blog. I have a Facebook, and a Myspace, so why not? Oh, and now I have a Twitter account as well. Ha ha. I'm just getting all the new stuff. I don't want to be behind the times ya know? Anyways, I am Jessica, and I am a student up at Utah State. :D Pretty much it's the best school ever! I have a great family, where I am the only girl with four brothers. I also have awesome friends who help keep me sane. :) Anyways, that is it for now ta ta!
